Jing Yuan smiles, inclining his head. His heart's still beating too fast, butterflies wreaking havoc within his stomach, his fist curling behind his lower back to suppress the feeling. "Of course. The Xianzhou Luofu and I are here for you always, you should know as much by now. I'm just relieved to see you all safe and sound. How long are you visiting for. . ."
The rest of the sentence escapes him as his gaze catches on a pair of horns which protrude from a head of black hair.
They're different from the translucent blue of those belonging to Imbibitor Lunae, carved instead from molten gold. Rays of sun catch on their surface as their owner steps closer, grown in stature so he and Jing Yuan now stand at eye-level.

Summary
Dan heng is hot all over.
The new form granted to him through their journey on Amphoreus undoubtedly had its advantages but so it did the limitations.
The sweltering, dizzying heat that he feels now, rendering him helpless and unable to do much of anything without struggle to keep himself together, is certainly one of them.
His mind muddled by the intensity of all the sensations piling on him at once - hazy unclear; the tightness of his shirt, fabric grazing against his chest, the flush he feels on his face, skin hot and the drops of sweat rolling down the back of his neck.
The heat - the most intense of all - pooling deep in the pit of his stomach, tingling and itchy.

For the first time, he was close enough to what he wanted to hear. Varka might finally shape his movements, his choices, and Flins wanted it. He wanted to surrender his choices to Varka’s hands. He wanted it badly.
Varka was a very accommodating person. Always watching, always adjusting, so no one had to feel uncomfortable. Whether for the Knights or for his friends, he never changed.
Flins believed it was a beautiful thing. Humans were fragile and needed that coddling. But he was not human. He needed Varka to stop asking him what he wanted and to start giving him orders.
