It's hell for Neikos, with the exception of his daughter, of course. But, maybe his life will get better when the protectors and Demigods of Amphoreus, the Chrysos Heirs themselves, come into his life, greeting him with completely open arms, carrying a past that he slowly discovers for himself through dreams and memories alike.

When the merman Mydeimos saves the surface world's prince Phainon from dying at sea, he stumbles upon a conspiracy - one that aims to destroy his people. To stop it, Mydeimos will have to disguise himself as a surface dweller, infiltrate the Okheman royal palace, find the conspiracy's mysterious leader... and keep his own identity a secret from Phainon. Which would be much, much easier if Phainon wasn't so damn easy to fall for.

Summary
When Khaslana had decided to desert the Antimatter Legion and take the young twin Stellaron bearers with him, he had mostly done it out of defiance. This isn’t his first act of rebellion against his “benefactors,” but it certainly is his most egregious one, and he doubts that he’ll be so easily forgiven if and when they manage to drag him back into their fold, as they always have done.
He only hopes he can give Caelus and Stelle a life far, far away from Destruction before that time comes.
Because over the course of their time on the run, he has grown to cherish these two innocent children, who greet a monster like him with the purest of adoration.

In an alternate universe where Amphoreus was always real, the Antimatter Legion invaded and destroyed it, and Khaslana was turned into a Lord Ravager against his will. When he's given the task to nurture Stelle and Caelus, children who bear Stellarons in them, he flees with them instead, taking them under his wing and trying to raise them to the best of his ability.
