Ok so, this stupid idea was not Minho's idea. It was also not Chan's. They did not even plan it. It just so happened that Jisung asked Minho out of the blue if he was dating somebody and Minho panicked and blurted out no.
Now Minho's stuck in keeping their relationship secret because he is a prideful person that refuses to back down. (he's stupid that's what he is, honestly how did Chan put up with him)
Alternatively,
Minho has to continue the stupid charade that he's single that the only alone time he has with Chan is inside Chan's car (everyone already knows anyways)
