Summary
Ivan smells Till first before he sees him, his pheromones unobtrusive but worn boldly hit his nose like spice. Till easily makes his way and plops down with his head between his hands without saying a word.
“Hello Till.” Ivan greets politely.
“Mhggmgh” is Till's muffled reply.
Ivan nods seriously as he sets the book he was reading on his lap, cosmic eyes observe the bruises painted on the side of Till's face and his knuckles red and skin split, “I see you got into a fight again, why?”
“The bastard was asking for it,” Till snapped, glaring at Ivan before withering down with a grumble at his misplaced anger and ruffled his hair.
Or Just because you grew up with each other, doesn't mean you know everything about each other.

Summary
The sound makes him freeze on the spot. It is barely there, making him doubt if he really heard it or not. Cautiously turning back to the door, he presses an ear against it. Barely a second later he hears it again. This time clearer.
It is a cry. A weak, almost silent one, but it is there. For a few seconds, Till can’t put a name on it. It can be a stray cat, or some small animal for all he knows. Yet, there is this mysterious voice in the back of his head that says he should probably not ignore it. Till listens to it, forming eye contact with Ivan as he enters the living room with a slight frown of his own. Till only shrugs at him in return.
The door finally opens, and Till looks at the empty hallway before the faint cry pulls his attention to the ground next to the door.
“Holy shit…”
