When he discovers that his assistant, Miss Sky Young, is facing a similar argument with her parents, he comes up with a simple solution: the two of them can pretend to date long enough for him to finish his current invention. Surely no harm could come of it; after all, they're both adults, with no feelings for one another whatsoever. What could possibly go wrong?
