Summary
Taken in by Papa Emeritus II at the age of five, Sister Alastair was raised within the inner sanctum of the clergy - in the shadows of sacred halls and silent secrets. Where devotion to the Dark Lord is absolute, and ambition clouds judgement. For years, she watched as the whirlwind of rituals and power plays of the church push around her - Secondo and his brothers protecting her from the politics innate to the clergy of the church.
Years later, now I grown adult, she finds the protection afforded to her snatched away when a new Cardinal transfers to their branch. As the church fractures behind closed doors, the Emeritus brothers are forced to actions they would rather never have to consider.
