To be fair, I never did leave the best first impression. So it was not all that surprising when I found myself in awkward situations. The situation I found myself in at that moment, though, was a particularly awkward one. My arm looped through the arm of a stranger. A much taller stranger and a much bigger arm than I was expecting to grab.
The moment I realized my mistake and stopped my rambling, the stranger spoke. “I doubt I’ll be mellowing out anytime in the foreseeable future.”

Summary
Olive thought that things ended between Adam and her for good that evening at the SBD Conference.
Ten years after she ended things with him, Olive meets Adam again. Having just worked through a divorce and now dealing with the reality that she will have to raise the child she's seven months pregnant with alone, it's safe to say that a lot has changed for her.
Will their second first meeting be their second chance at a happy ending together? Or will their own tangled webs of past hurt and trauma prevent them from giving things another try? (spoiler alert, read the tags lol)
Canon divergent ending where Olive doesn't tell Adam what happened and they both go their separate ways. Everything before Olive decides to tell Adam what happened at the SBD conference is the same. Second First Meeting takes place ten years after those events took place.
