“I think we should talk.”
Tommy looks at Buck, his eyes wide and lips slightly parted, face still flushed from his fight with Eddie. “Evan …”
“I can’t do this anymore, Tommy,” Buck says quietly. “We have to sit down. And talk. Can you do this? Because if not, if you’re going to walk out on me again …”
“I won’t,” Tommy says. Quickly. “I promise, I won’t.”

Summary
Just as the group date winds down, Buck’s doorbell rings.
Buck lets out a muffled, “Mm!” around the cookie in his mouth. He dusts his hands off and swallows. “I forgot. Ravi’s swinging by to grab something.”
He gets up from his chair and walks to the front door. It’s a little spooky sometimes. When Buck is focused on something, he moves across a room the same way that Bobby did.
The door opens to reveal Ravi. He’s dressed more casually than May has ever seen him: athletic shorts and a faded Southern California St. Jude Walk t-shirt. May tries to keep her eyes on the tv, but there’s something soft about Ravi in the low light of Buck’s living room. She can’t look away.
