Jabber starts to feel too much, so he moves towards what usually helps him. However, he couldn't find anyone to fight and didn't feel like making self-inflicted wounds either. That makes him decide to go back to his old habits and forces himself to vomit.

Summary
Zanka Nijiku is a bad person. He's thrives in the gratification that comes with one-upping his enemies, not out of care for the sake of the mission, but rather the need to bring them down with him. He was terrible for it, he knew, but someone loved him for it. Someone gave him a place to hide the worst of himself in them. Could it hurt so much to indulge in that comfort?
