    Summary

He would love to be the kind of person who could laze around in bed with his lover (it was the term they’d settled on at Ilya’s insistence, dreadful) but Shane just wasn’t built that way.

Or: one year post-cottage, are Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, who are so good at so many things, any good at all at being in love?

    Summary

How did he let this happen?

    Shane's not sure.

One moment, he was on the gym floor not staring at Rozanov's gorgeous sweaty body. Then Shane was standing up, but his legs were weak for some god forsaken reason and Rozanov was there, just an arm around his waist to keep him upright, and now...

    Well.

Now Shane's on his knees on the floor of Ilya Rozanov's shower.

    Or

Heated Rivalry, but the boys are forced to have an honest conversation around 8 years earlier than they do in canon.

    Summary

Shane was twelve when hockey scouts started showing up to his games. He was barely fifteen when a check went horribly wrong, fucked his knee to hell and gave him a grade III concussion. During rehab he found swimming, and he was seventeen when he went to the Olympics as a relay-only swimmer who only swam the prelims.

He’s 24 and working for his mom’s sports PR company when he meets Ilya Fucking Rozanov.

May contain: Shane Hollander navigating what it means to be mostly normal when your whole childhood was about preparing you for greatness. Shane Hollander attempting to flirt. Possibly less than 100% accurate descriptions of what a sports PR agent does.
