Summary
There was a familiar, recurring scene in the Zoldyck-Family household.
At the heart of the crime, there was you, your older brother, and the accompanying sound of unmistakable yelling in the air. It didn’t matter where the two of you were; on the occasion you two were in the same vicinity, it would only be a matter of time before one of you was clawing at the throat of the other. Or, rather, before you were clawing at the throat of your brother as he stood stone-faced and unbothered.
Illumi’s ruthlessness was always understood amongst his hired contractors. But you had grown up with a more intimate, personal view of it all: a witness to all of Illumi and what came with being related to the monster. If his victims considered him vicious, emotionless, and inhumane, then you had a fate worse than all of them combined: he was your brother.
(Or, after a meaningless event, you begin to question your perception of your family, forcing you to re-evaluate your relationship with them, and ultimately — yourself.)
