None of the songs ever say anything about having more than one soulmate, let alone nine, but the universe appears determined to punish you. As time passes, you learn that a soulmate is not necessarily someone you have to be in love with, and sometimes they are just people who complete you in ways you didn’t even know were broken. Sometimes, they’re not even people you like at all.
