Summary
“Kid,” Tony whispers from his place in the line of groomsmen, kicking his heel softly. “You okay?”
“Y-yeah,” he whispers, not wanting to take the attention on the altar away from May.
May’s always made everything about Peter. Always. And that fact only intensified after his type one diabetes diagnosis three months ago.
But today? Today is about May. About Happy. About the two of them choosing each other and being happy together, and Peter has done everything he can think of to keep his diabetes and his tendency to be an absolute klutz from interfering with that fact.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride,” the officiant announces, the small crowd cheering as May and Happy kiss. Peter smiles and claps, feels his body sway a bit and blinks his eyes as he steadies himself.
He’s fine.
Dexcom says he’s fine.
He's fine.
The second the wedding party enters the coolness of the air-conditioned venue, he grabs a glass of water, but it shakes in his hand, splashes a bit on the floor.

Summary
During a late night Hydra raid, Tony comes across a door with a spider emblem on it and inside is a fearful child.
He takes the boy back to the tower with him, in hopes of helping the boy, but little does Tony know that he’s falling right into Hydra’s plan to help Peter complete his first mission; killing Tony Stark.
Peter must now gain Tony’s trust and make the man care for him to gather information on him, before he kills him and goes back to Hydra.

“I like you,” the kid answered and while being very cute, it was still infuriating.
“Well, thank you,” Tony sighed and patted him on the head, “But it would probably be too narcissistic, even for me, to plaster your room with only my posters.”

Peter is rescued from HYDRA and now lives with Tony. The problem is that the kid doesn't seem to have any opinions on anything. Tony realizes that the kid has simply never had the ability to choose and Tony makes it his mission to introduce the kid to as many likable things as possible.

Summary
This is how it all starts. This is how Tony ends up with a young, mute Peter running amok in the tower vents and cuddling him into submission. All Tony had wanted to do was help a sad little city upgrade its infrastructure and gain some quality of life improvements. Who would have thought a charity mission could turn from boring to intriguing in the time it takes for a vent to creak overhead?
This series is just shameless cuddles with some story progression thrown in for funsies, and this is how it all began. Future installments are likely to be one shots involving Peter, Tony, and the bewildered Avengers who just want a normal goddamn home life.
