Until Izuku Midoriya introduces himself to Bakugo and they start getting closer. Bakugo finds himself falling harder and harder for Izuku, debating on asking for his number or just to go out in general. Or they can have hot gym sex in the back stall of the bathroom- he doesn't really care.
And then, it all comes crashing down when Izuku comes in with a girl. A pretty girl. And doesn't look at Bakugo once.

Izuku and Katsuki don’t much care for PDA. Izuku doesn’t like the attention, far too anxious and self-conscious and insecure to lace his fingers with Katsukis while they walk or offer a cheek kiss in goodbye when he leaves the dorms for training. And Katsuki has never been one for physical touch. Only Izuku can ever really get away with brushing skin against skin or running crooked fingers through blond spikes. In the privacy of their dorm rooms they have no trouble finding the warmth of each other's safe embrace or the slide of lips against lips. But those affections are not and never will be for the eyes of others.

Izuku put down his chopsticks and was about to respond, when a familiar head of spiky blond hair appeared behind her. Kacchan was seething, his eyebrows furrowed the furthest Izuku had ever seen.
Izuku wanted to hide when he caught his eye, able to sense the pure rage seeping out of him. “I-Is something wrong, Kacchan?”
Kacchan snatched Izuku’s bento and whipped around, walking toward the door to outside. “We’re eating outside.”
“Hey! Uh, okay…” Izuku turned toward the girl who looked thoroughly confused, giving her an apologetic smile. “Sorry!”
Or, people start asking Izuku out and Katsuki isn't very happy about it.

As he’s lost in thought, Bakugo casually just closes his hand around his, breaking Izuku out of that stupor real quick. Ok...maybe he’d dropped something, that Bakugo was shoving back at him. But no—his hand was empty, and it was clear nothing was in between their hot skin, and this wasn’t a shove. This was… steady. Firm. Warm.
Bakugo laced their fingers together like it was nothing, like it wasn’t completely insane, and started walking.

"Oi, watch where you're–" the tall guy finally looks down and stops for a couple of seconds only to stare at Izuku in silence.
He's really handsome, although he looks kinda grumpy; he's probably mad at him.
"Is that your shit outside?" The blond clears his throat and even though he's cursing, it looks like he's trying to be polite.
"Yes, but it won't be there for long, I promise!" Izuku mumbles nervously. "The guys who helped me move left it at the entrance even though I told them–"
"Tch, it's fine!" The blond narrows his eyes. "Where's your apartment? I'll help you."
