    Or: can Loki trust himself not to be a monster, when all the prince wants is to take power?

    Clint would have come to help. Like, really. If it hadn't been for just a tiny detail—the kind which causes the best laid plans to spiral into chaos.

    It's not like Clint had a plan, anyway. Still, this whole slavery thing is supposed to be Loki's punishment. Maybe Clint's being petty, but it sounds more like the joke's on him.
