Summary
“Do you. Ever think. About Bill. Question mark.”
Ford’s sweet disposition changed almost instantly. Stan didn’t need to see his face, not when his shoulders visibly tensed. Guilt wormed its way in his stomach—he hated to be the one ruining his brother’s good mood, but he had been in a terrible one himself, ever since...“Stan. You know I do.”
***
In which the twins have a long and necessary talk over Ford’s feelings for their defeated enemy.

Summary
“Don’t struggle,” rumbled a deep voice against his ear, firm and roughened with age. A middle-aged man, at the very least, and a dangerous one. Stan also knew what such men sounded like.
***
International Institute of Oddology researcher and founder Stanford Pines, twelve times PhD, has just one thing missing in his life. That thing, fortunately for the success of his plans, is not his skill at kidnapping Stanleys.
In which 1980s Stan Pines gets a free trip to the future, but the brother left behind does not mess around.

Summary
“Precisely this, Stanford! Precisely the fact I would spend thirty years of my life slaving away to get you back, day after say, an unending task, with no concrete hope you were even alive, abandoning any possibility I could ever have a family or move on from you, being consumed with anxiety, unable to sleep, teaching myself advanced physics when I barely even understood high school math—”
“I’m sorry for punching you in the face!”
“IT’S NOT ABOUT THAT!”
***
In which an emotionally constipated Ford makes use of a truth serum to talk about feelings—Stan’s feelings, mind you, and no one else’s.
Things don’t quite go as planned.

Was Caryn Pines a good or a bad mom to the Stan twins? by padmerry

Summary
Stan introduces us to Caryn’s character by describing her in the following words: “Mom was a pathological liar, which served her well as a phone psychic.” She is also, canonically, a kleptomaniac. “Pathological liar” and “kleptomaniac” aren’t the first terms you think of when you picture a stereotypical housewife back in the day, are they? So that’s already proof she can’t be put in a box together with the “women of her time.”
Let’s get this out of the way: she does not fear Filbrick and people should stop using that as an excuse for her actions (or lack thereof). But she isn’t totally uncaring, either. I present you a canon analysis of the relationship between Caryn and her kids!***
A meta dedicated to analyzing Caryn’s role in the Pines family, mostly as Stan and Ford’s mother but also as Filbrick’s wife.

Summary
A big misunderstanding going on in this fandom is the idea that Stan was the one yearning for Ford while Ford was too busy hating Stan (at worst) or at least thinking he hated Stan (at best), too focused on his research and academic accomplishments to pay his repressed/heavily denied love for Stan any mind, up until Stan’s sacrifice in Weirdmageddon. Ambitious, self-centered Ford, who would be shocked at the preposterous idea that he still loved Stan deep down if, say, his post-Weirdmageddon future self revealed it to him. “I thought I hated you, but I was wrong,” old Ford says to Stan, remorseful... and painfully out-of-character!
***
A canon analysis dedicated to proving that Ford has always known he loved Stan, valued Stan over the greater good, and missed Stan just as much as Stan missed him. With pics!
