    The ER at this hospital was ill-equipped, chronically understaffed, and didn’t have enough beds. None of those things really distinguished it from the rest of the units in the hospital, which were also ill-equipped, chronically understaffed, and didn’t have enough beds. What did distinguish it from the rest of the hospital was the fact that they attempted to make up for their lack of beds by filling the hallways with stretchers and just seeing patients there instead of in rooms. ER6, the room Lee Minhyung was in, actually had a door, which was a true luxury.

    Donghyuck entered ER6 with a smile on his face that quickly fell off as he saw Lee Minhyung. Or, as Donghyuck knew him—

    “Mark?”
