Summary
A Canon Rewrite/Au of Iris' time sickness in s7-8 of the Flash. I loved the thought of it, and the setup was a pretty cool idea though the execution left much to be desired (so much potential wasted!) so I decided to try my hand at it. Starts right after Deon tells Iris that she needs to stay in Coast City after Barry leaves in 8 x 10. Very Iris-centric and Westallen-y. Originally called 'The Skies Will Break for You' but changed it to Better Together--will not change again.
Iris finds out about her time sickness but instead of sitting back she decides to take things into her own hands rebuilding her life in the process. (a.k.a. I'm a very bad summary writer :'>)

Summary
Basically a post Mirror-verse one-shot dealing with the healing and the aftermaths of Iris's time spent in the mirror. The amount of trauma and absolute neglect and underutilization of Iris West-Allen in the last few seasons had me irritated, so this is my take on what healing might look like? For the both of them?

It's not that Barry Allen hates being The Flash, it's just that sometimes he wishes he was normal. Sometimes he wishes that people saw him and not just The Flash, one of Victory City's main superheroes. So he runs. He runs until he reaches Central City — a city that isn't full of heroes and villains, just normal, boring people.
