“Soooo boooooring!” Nightingale slurred. She really was a lightweight.
“I’m afraid I must concur this once,” Nearl smiled. “The bar will be closing soon, right? Given that we’re your last group of customers, perhaps you should take the chance to relax as well.”
“As the bartender, I couldn’t possibly…” Ansel halfheartedly pointed out, secretly tempted by the prospect of enjoying the last hour of his shift with the Followers. The chance would never present itself again.
In which Ansel, working in Rhodes Island's bar, is surprised to see the Followers drop in for a late-night drink. His hospitality soon finds himself on the receiving end of their passions--and the chaos that follows in the wake of their affection.
