“You know, this is what you get for being too good at writing,” Yoongi tells him a moment later, once Namjoon has opened his eyes again and blinked spots out of his vision. “Next time, write an acrostic poem or something. Nobody would believe that’s romantic.”
“You haven’t read my acrostic poems,” Namjoon says, watching Yoongi settle cross-legged on the mattress, because there’s a corner of his brain that’s dedicated to bickering with Yoongi and it’s stuck permanently firing on all cylinders.
“I haven’t read your letter either,” Yoongi shoots back, eyebrows raised, as if he’s expecting Namjoon to just hand it over like that. “Was your ode to friendship really that intense? Because she really seemed convinced it couldn’t be anything but a love letter.”
(or: Namjoon's latest creative writing assignment is... Interesting. Too bad Yoongi gets dragged into it.)

Summary
A few steps ahead of them, decked out in his best hiking gear, Namjoon stands with his hand reaching out. The butterfly flutters around it, and then lands, right on the tip of his index finger.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me,” Seokjin mumbles. “It’s the fourth? Fifth time this happens?”
“Fifth if you count the frog he found at the entrance,” Yoongi wheezes out, pausing in his steps for just a moment. He didn’t think he was this out of shape. “He’s just a beacon for small critters.”

Summary
“You should have called me right then and there. What if you’d hurt them?” Yoongi keeps going, and he has the gall to look at Namjoon with an expression that borders on disappointment.
“How was I supposed to know you run a—a, I don’t know, a mermaid rehab center? I couldn’t just leave them there! Or throw them back into the water! There was nobody there at six in the morning, but that beach has the crowd of a Psy concert right now, and they were passed out face down on the sand, and injured, and—” Namjoon can feel himself embarrassingly hurtling towards a flustered tirade at terminal velocity, which is why he needs to pull the brakes on that right now. “What if they’d drowned?” he concludes, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
Hoseok snorts from behind him, and Yoongi blinks at him, twice in quick succession.
“What if the mermaid had drowned,” Yoongi repeats, very slowly, and for one single, far too long moment Namjoon considers permanently moving to the bottom of the ocean.

Namjoon finds an injured mermaid on an early morning walk on the beach. The one person who can help them get better is, unfortunately, the bane of Namjoon's existence.

Summary
Namjoon really hadn’t meant to fall asleep.
He’d wanted to stay awake, listen to Yoongi’s explanation, have an excuse to stare as Yoongi raised one hand from the steering wheel to make a point—but Yoongi’s voice has been the soundtrack of so many sleepless nights that it’s hard now not to associate it with the moments when the world turns soft and hazy at the corners and your eyes close of their own accord.
He only realizes he’d dozed off once he wakes up, feeling like he’s barely blinked. The only sign that time has passed is the scenery around them, now that they’re clearly far enough away from Seoul that the buildings have given way to a glowing countryside. The light of the setting sun is bright enough it shines past his eyelids, and he opens his eyes to orange clouds and Yoongi’s huff of laughter.
(Yoongi takes Namjoon on a trip to see the fireflies.)

“We might be making a bigger deal out of this than we really need to,” Namjoon tentatively proposes, trying to make himself heard over the noise, one hand held out in front of him like he’s trying not to spook a very nervous puppy. The other one is raising the flap of Hoseok’s tent as he peers inside, taking a look, and behind him Yoongi settles on a folding chair with all the air of someone who’s about to enjoy the show.
“It’s a big deal. It’s a big moth,” Hoseok replies, voice coming out tighter than he'd like it to.

Sanji does not point out the fact that Zoro didn’t think the term was so gross when he was using it to beg Sanji to move faster, go harder. He wonders if Zoro says it to any of his other hookups, or if Sanji gets the moniker all to himself.
God, this is becoming a problem.
Really, the first problem was fucking his frenemy. Okay, he shouldn't say that. The word frenemy is so tacky. And also inaccurate for what Zoro is to him. But mostly the tacky thing.So you caught feelings for you super-casual, months-long, practically-but-not-actually-exclusive hookup. It's probably fine, right?
