Summary
Chan felt the steady pull of grief in his chest, heavier than anything he’d ever carried. He didn’t want to think about tomorrow, about the fact that they might not have another day like this, that soon, he would sit beside Jisung’s bed, holding his hand as his breath slowed, as his body stilled. He had been present for so many endings, had watched life slip away from countless patients over the years, that he had thought he'd hardened to it.

The boy who had first met him with a teasing grin, despite the IV drip in his arm. The boy who had kept the entire ward entertained with his sharp wit, who made Chan laugh even when exhaustion pressed heavy on his shoulders. The boy who, even through the pain, had an endless capacity for love: for small things, for the world, for the people around him.
And now, Chan was losing him.

From closer, it’s clear that Minho is about his age. He’s handsome— very much so— in an untouchable sort of way. Straight nose, sharp eyes, a defined cupid’s bow. He looks sculpted rather than born. Jisung might shrink under the weight of his presence if the situation were different.
Knowing that Minho is dying ruins the illusion of perfection.
Jisung answers an ad online reading: "I'm going to die, but there's a lot of things I haven't done yet that I don't want to do alone."

Summary
It’s desperation that drives Felix to place himself at the mercy of someone he has no right to expect kindness from. Six months on the street with his funds running low, if one of his father’s men doesn’t kill him then the oncoming winter will. Going to Chan is a decided risk, he might put a bullet in Felix's skull instead of taking on the job he's offering, but— well. At least that death will be quick.
But Chan doesn’t kill him. He gives Felix shelter, gives him a home. And Felix finds himself in way too deep with a man who doesn’t even fully know who he’s falling for.

“Am… Am I the only customer here?” Chan asks hesitantly. That can’t be good news.
“Of course!” Seungmin says calmly. “Given the nature of the retreat, we only take on one client at a time, so don’t worry. Your stay will be completely discreet.”
“The… nature of the retreat? What do you mean by that?” Chan asks, clueless.
“Well, since it is a sexual liberation program, we—” Seungmin stops when Chan chokes on his own saliva, doubling over to cough violently. Chan straightens back up, wiping his wet eyes, too shocked to be embarrassed.
“A what program?” He exclaims. “I’m sorry, my friend told me this was a spa retreat!”
