Summary
"Love Letters in the Attic" started with the one-shot Out of Time for the 'Mystrade is Our Division' prompt 'Time'. It was really meant to be just the one-shot, but readers really wanted to find out what happened to the characters. A week or two later, the prompt was 'Letter,' which answered the question with "Love Letters in the Attic." The readers were satisfied, but then Muse, Mycroft, and Greg wanted to tell a little more of their story between the two timestamps, thus this series.
This is told as a series instead of a single multi-chapter story because each 'chapter' was a one-shot based on a prompt. None of it was written in physical chronological order. I had to reorder the works to tell this tale within my main Mystrade works. With this series, their tale is told linearly from beginning to end.
