Summary
Jean would never admit that he hates his life. Hate might be a strong word, but so is the pull of depression. He's engaged to Hitch, stuck in a rut that he can't seem to climb out of. The one day he forgets about his favorite coffee shop's Suspended Coffee tradition is the day he runs into Marco Bodt, quite literally. From then on, Jean's life seems to take a pleasant turn for the better as he finds a friend in a selfless person, starts to face his demons and learns to smile openly and give from the heart.

Summary
Jean never had a lot of friends; he's too brash and loud and seems too arrogant, so most of the other kids in his school avoid him. But at least there's someone, something, he can always count on to be there when he comes home exhausted and feeling lonely. It's always been there, since he could think, and even though he was scared of it at first he's come to find its presence oddly soothing and calming by now.

Summary
Jean has known Marco Bodt for a very long time, a majority of his life actually. From the dirt-eating years to the not-so-great hormonal years, they’ve been through it all. It doesn’t help that Jean can’t figure out what inappropriate behavior is with his best friend‒since when was sleeping together weird? It doesn’t help that his mother (and Marco’s for that matter) are college girls in a mother’s body and want nothing more than their sons to just get married already.
Jean and Marco’s summer before their senior years is definitely going to be a big one; full of parties, drama, humor, and for some, heartbreak. How will Marco and Jean come to terms that what they have is a little more than just friendship?
