    Unfortunately, such a short answer meant Ike had no intention of elaborating. Whatever he 'guessed' happened, Soren was the one left guessing.

    Soren froze. Titania smothered a laugh behind her hand. Tibarn’s eyebrows shot up.

    Ranulf put his head in his hands.

    Ike just looked at Soren, a hint of a smile playing on his face, so small no one else would have seen it.

    “He’s the best,” he said.
