    Herpo the Foul is considered the greatest Dark Wizard ever born, to this day not a single imitator has come close to disrupting the balance of magic as Herpo did. By far he was the most inventive with his spell and ritual crafting. A True Dark Lord.
    It would come to be known by historians that his most studious apprentice was one of Hogwarts’ Four Founders, Salazar Slytherin.
    Centuries later, a descendant of said apprentice took a particular interest in the remaining notes and studies left in the Chamber of Secrets.
    Herpo's two most wicked and vile inventions resided within, a Basilisk and the method of making a Horcrux.
    Magic is fickle and unpredictable, and the various forms it takes can interact in sometimes unexplainable and incomprehensible ways.

    The Dark Curse of a Living Horcrux Leaching on Life.
    The Binding Magic Contract of the Goblet of Fire.
    The Touch of a Mother’s Undying Love.
    An Incomplete Animagus Ritual.
