Summary
It has been years since Jones betrayed The Imagined Order, having seen their true intentions and what The Loop did to those who entered its harmful clutches. But it's been even longer since Jones has seen Midas; former co-worker (and ex-boyfriend) who had that same idea decades before.
Now Jones is reunited with Midas under a common goal: protect The Zero Point. Things are fine at first, but he soon learns he cannot avoid talking things through with him forever.
Even though Jones knows now how powerful the IO is, he still feels puzzled and hurt by Midas' actions. Why was he never honest about why he left the IO in the first place? And why was Midas so interested in having control of The Zero Point himself?
With Daigo under possession and The Dark Presence growing stronger every day on Oninoshima, Jones and Midas work together to try to stop it... and try to patch things up between them in the meantime.
