Summary
After a surprise meeting outside the Tamaden Elephants’ training facility, Kunimi and Kindaichi decide to meet for drinks to catch up and kick off the weekend. Kunimi doesn’t always drink to get drunk, but his brand new promotion has him stressed, and his feelings for Kindaichi on top of that has his head ready to explode. So he may drink a bit too much that night, and he might say some things he’ll regret in the morning (spoiler alert: he doesn’t regret a thing) -- but he’s tired of hiding how he really feels about his best friend, and he thinks Yuutarou is too.
Following a cab ride home, Kindaichi just wants to help Kunimi to bed, but in a turn of events he decides to stay the night. What starts out as an innocent kiss quickly turns heated, their suppressed desire for each other coming to a head. Next thing they know clothes are being stripped to bare not only their bodies, but all their feelings from over ten years of friendship.

And as much as he wanted Oikawa by his side forever, he couldn’t stand to be selfish and get in the way of his best friend’s dreams.
