A bittersweet smile blooms across Mizi's face.
"I've started looking forward to the future because of you. I know a life together may be one of those possibilities but the one we chose to live for just happened to be one without each other. It will be okay that was all the time we had, it's alright that we can't be much more than this. Because in that ripple of time, we have set a point in our lives that has given us hope. Even if it makes us nostalgic and sad and regretful as well, there is happiness worth living for.
"Beautifully said." The interviewer regains his bearings, picking up his pensive face from the response. "Since the inspiration of this album seems to be very specific, I'm sorry that I have to ask, do we know who this lucky person is?"
Mizi looks dead center at the camera, "Mizi. It's Mizi."
The deadpan delivery lands on the audience and they howl with laughter.
The irony of it screeches on her ears but she doubles down, repeating a mantra she's so desperate to cling onto—"Mizi, Mizi, Mizi."
She still remembers everything.
