Soaking wet, in their underwear and barefoot, clutching their new expensive clothes and shoes to their chests. “That was so homophobic” Dennis pants as he and Mac crouch behind some bushes. “Yeah they were real pieces of shit” Mac agrees. They look at each other, giggling like schoolgirls. The adrenaline rush has them giddy and electrified. Sure, they run from the cops almost every week, but being wet, barefoot and basically naked gives it a different flavor. Also, they’ve become separated from the rest of the gang, accidentally on purpose, and they’ve had their eyes locked now for longer than what would be considered normal between friends.
