Summary
It's the summer before Senior Year, 1986. Mike's gotten himself sentenced to a seasonal job working at Scoops Ahoy with none other than his natural enemy, Max. It's hell, but it's also summer so, Mike tries his hardest not to complain—which isn't all that hard.
He does, however, find working at the mall isn't so bad when Will tells him he also got a job. And at the brand new Surfer Boy Pizza no less.
And so, Mike tries to make the most of what he hopes will be a pizza-filled summer with Will. And Max, if she must be there...

Summary
Smoke clung to him, shrouding him in thick grey spirals. He was sort of a myth, like this. Unreal, unknown. Something about him begged you to get closer. Will knew better than to try.
Shoulder to shoulder, they stood there until both cigarettes were ash in their fingertips. Regretfully, Will dropped his, stomped on it. He didn’t want to break from this. To go out and find someone else, then close his eyes and pretend it was Mike.
A challenge: kiss someone by the end of the night.
