Summary
Hope’s shaking her head vigorously, pushing further into Josie’s space. Josie steps back.
“Hope, stop.” She struggles to maintain a steady voice.
They’ve been doing this for so long. So, so long. Pushing and pulling. Pretending. And Josie is over trying to hold it in - tired of letting it eat her alive and leave her gasping for air.

“Because, miss, I very obviously can’t handle Josie alone.” She mocks, and Hope immediately hates the way it seems that both sisters possess the talent to see right through the tribrid, “I have a date that is much more important than trying to keep you on a leash all night.”
“Lizzie.” Hope pleads.
“What?” The blonde shrugs, adding an eye roll for classic Lizzie effect, “You drool over her all the time. Don’t get mad at me for just pointing out the obvious.”

Hope can be a real idiot sometimes.
Not that she isn’t smart. She knows she is.
But maybe purposefully ignoring the two people closest to her for the past week may have not been the smartest thing to do. Not that she had meant to, but Hope can be really bad when it comes to acceptance.
