“Feelin’ good, Cupcake?” Vi whispers, lips trailing down her jaw, nipping after every kiss.
Caitlyn feels good, yes, but also a bit weird. She’s all floaty and heavy and warm, and everything seems to be moving a little slower all around her. She tells Vi exactly that, and Vi gives her a lazy smile.
“That’s called being high,” a kiss to Caitlyn’s shoulder, “Feels funny right?”

“I need a favor,” Blake says, and if Yang hadn’t heard that one before.
“What makes you think you can ask me for favors?” Then she smiles, that oh-so-innocent smile she plasters on for teachers, and apparently people who she needs favors from.
“Be my girlfriend.”
Yang short-circuits for a second, “Sorry, what?” she croaks out, because maybe she heard Blake wrong.
“Be my girlfriend," she pauses, rewording, "Fake girlfriend.”
“Fake… girlfriend?”

blake asks yang to be her fake girlfriend as a favor; old feelings begin to rise up, & maybe they realize that leaving things in the past was not as smart as they once thought.

Summary
Caitlyn meets Vi when she's fourteen.
She falls in love with Vi. With her pretty gray-blue eyes, with her laugh, with the way she cares so deeply about the people she loves. How she’s grown to be a little taller than Caitlyn. How she’s always there with Caitlyn, even when she’s not.
When she's sixteen, she loses Vi. It hurts. She doesn't know what to do. Doesn't know what she can do.
When she's twenty one, she meets Vi again. They relearn to love each other.

Summary
Caitlyn had been invited to a ball. An annual ball that she hadn’t been old enough to attend until she was eighteen. When she was of the age, she wasn’t set on going. Nothing about it really piqued her interest, so she declined the invites she got each year since turning eighteen.
But now, four years later, her mind had changed. For all the wrong reasons, of course.
Reason number one: She would see Vi in a suit.Reason number one: Her parents wouldn’t stop bothering her about it.
Reason number two: She was allowed to bring a plus one. (Vi was her first and only option, naturally.)

“Reki,” he placed a hand on the boys shoulder. “I’m sure. It’s ok, don’t worry.” Langa could feel the tension quickly leaving Reki’s body. Could he really calm him down that fast? He wondered what a kiss would do… would it spike his heart rate? Would he lean into it? Push him away?
You never know unless you try, he thought idly. Maybe. Maybe just this once he’d let himself be selfish.
