"Dad?" He calls out, pushing the door open.
He stands there in the open doorway, because it isn't right. This is his house, and it isn't right. His heart pounds, his limbs fill up with static energy. His lungs suddenly feel too small. He's sweating, even though its winter and he doesn't have a coat.
Megumi drops the keys he's been uselessly holding in his hand. There is blood spatter across everything. Across the TV, across the wall, across the ceiling, on the floor and the papers, seeping into the couch cushions, and dripping off the lampshade tassels. It's so much. It's too much.
