His phone buzzes again, and Lan Zhan picks it up this time. To his surprise, it's a message from the Blood Bank.
The Blood Bank was a way for him to make money faster, beyond his usual teaching job, to help his mother. He tried not to think too much about the fact that there were random faceless vampires feasting on his blood.
Frowning to himself, Lan Zhan clicks the message.
"You have been selected as a special provider for a very prestigious client! The Yiling Laozu has chosen you to be a part of his regular collaborators!"
Lan Zhan raises an eyebrow when he sees the name.
Very few vampires are known amongst humans, because they keep well hidden, but Yiling Laozu is one of the most well-known ones.

Summary
Wei Ying has been dreaming about Lan Zhan since he was thirteen years old. Thirteen was when his mind imagined Lan Zhan for him. At first the dreams were few and far between. He would remember very little about them, except a sense of peace and happiness that would follow him all day. And a pair of beautiful eyes that looked at him like he was the most important person in the world.
The dreams were a blessing, and they were a curse; no real person could compare to them. They didn’t stop until the year that Wei Ying turned twenty three.
Twenty three was when Wei Ying looked up from the children he was sitting on the floor, cross-legged with, and thought that he was dreaming. Twenty three was when Wei Ying had raised his hand to greet the volunteer from the music academy and everything stopped.
Twenty three was when Wei Ying met Lan Zhan.
