Summary
Here is an AU in which Rei and Nagisa first meet when they are ten years old and live next door to each other starting from the day the Hazuki family moves in right next to the Ryuugazaki residence. Full of bedroom-window conversation buddies, past and present drama, maple leaves, strawberry candy, butterflies, daisies, quirky family members and friends, and Mount Everest quantities of fluff and dorks being dorks together as they grow to love each other to pieces over the years. Summary
Nagisa is a young merman who is fascinated by humans despite his father's distaste for them. He decides to swim to the surface to learn about them firsthand. He spots a blue-haired human running on the beach and is stunned by his beauty. After saving said human from drowning in a storm, Nagisa can't get him off of his mind and eventually asks the sea witch to turn him into a human.
