Summary
Apollyon calls it the Shameful, for he believes it is all of the shame Isaac holds. Judas calls it the Unidentified, for he believes it is the horror of no one knowing who you are. Most of them call it Blue Baby, for it is blue and it is a child. Names can be simple like that.
It rots and bleeds and stays silent. Blue and purple and yellow skin let guts and liquid slop out. Its nails are bitten and dirty and acne covers its arms and back and head and neck. If it is the Shameful, then it is ashamed of everything it is and could be. If it is the Unidentified, then it is horrifyingly unhuman, a practical unmarked grave. It is always blue, and it is always a child.
The thing in the Chest is not Blue Baby. The boy in the Cathedral is not Isaac. If they are, they're only parts of a whole, the parts the kid does not like to see. Neither a fully perfect son nor a fully horrible body are any good for him.

Summary
Compared to the accurate limbs and body, the head is too smooth. There's no nose, no brow, the jaw and chin look like an afterthought. And in the middle, someone cut into the stone, and lopsidedly made hollow eyes. There's no dip around the sockets, only a sharp drop of jagged rock. The lines cut into each other, creating unnatural divots. It looks vandalized. The mouth lies agape, cartoonishly simple. For a moment, Cain feels like it stands tall against them, asking why they stare. It gazes with a recognition that a statue doesn't have.
"Any energy?"
Judas shakes his head. "Nothing. It's just weird."

Summary
After the Garden, Eve ran. She ran from the man she didn't love like a spouse, ran from the only people in the world, ran until her legs gave out. She was the first person to cry and cry like her ribs were shattered.
But maybe it had to be done. Maybe the objectively bad choice was the best one. In her darkest dreams, she sees the split of timelines. Apollyon didn't speak to her because she was worse or because she was a terrible wife or because God looked into her heart and saw she was different than she had appeared on the outside. No, Lucifer spoke to Eve because she was the first person to be lonely.

Lazarus blinks and turns to look at the lockers. "No, it's—Lazarus isn’t my legal name. But I much rather be called Lazarus than any other name by now. I just sort of thought of it one day and it stuck."
Bit of a weird way to refer to yourself, as it implies that he’ll die at some point, but Sam's boxing name has been compared to Aran Ryan's, which is probably a fair bit worse. At least it's in terms of 'you both use your actual name' and not 'you both cheat'. And, hey, if Sam gets given a nickname down the line, he doesn’t care. Unless it's just downright terrible, then he’ll probably care a bit.

Summary
You can't even see the tiles. There’s not a single light, not even from machinery. No clocks, no buttons, nor reds or greens or grays. Not even windows here. You’ve lost the stars to a sea of gasoline and wires. Only warped paper and dust and metal are still with you.
It nearly feels right in an abandoned sort of way. The fan buzz, the building creaking, the vague rustling, the wind far away. You can almost pretend this is an okay place to stay.
