Summary
Two ex–childhood best friends meet again after ten years apart. Grumpy, guarded Pond, who no longer smiles returns as a stranger shaped by unspoken trauma and scars, pushing everyone away, especially Phuwin. And Phuwin, whose smile still brightens every room, feels the pull of a past he never let go and refuses to give up.
As strangers sharing a past, he gently tries to help Pond remember warmth, trust, and the boy he once was. So who will win at the end - Pond’s resistance or Phuwin’s unwavering efforts?
Thrown together again, their reunion is quiet, fractured, and heavy with unspoken history, missed years, and a love that hasn’t learned its name yet.

Summary
Pond had lived his whole life alone in the forest, a solitary figure touched by the very shadows that haunted mankind. When he saved a young man named Phuwin—the first human to ever look at him without fear—a profound connection bloomed. Unable to give up on the bond, Pond abandoned his isolation to follow Phuwin on his quest to seal a destructive breach between worlds. Unconcerned with the mission and its fate, his journey became one of pure devotion, as Phuwin became the sole light and warmth in his life.
But light casts shadows, and some truths might just be too heavy to bear.or
The black lingered in his vision for hours, the chill in his bones became a permanent resident. He was saving them, over and over, but with each salvation, he felt himself slipping further away, becoming something a little less human, a little more like the very shadows he was destroying.
or
Under an endless starry sky, Pond learned the world's true wonders weren't above, but beside him—in the warmth of Phuwin's hand and the sound of his voice naming the constellations.
