"Ghost, good to see you," John Price greets, reaching out to Simon for a firm handshake. "This must be your boy, then."
Ghost nods, standing tall, and even though Simon isn't looking at him while he speaks to Price, Soap can feel his gaze on him always.
"Yes sir, this is my Johnny."
Price nods and hums, flipping through paperwork on his clipboard while the other human officials start walking around Soap, already jotting notes on their own boards.
"John Riley, high content Dutch Shepherd-Hybrid. Intact Male. Registered name 'Soap MacTavish'. Correct, lieutenant?"
Ghost nods once. "Affirmative, sir."
Price nods again, a small smile on his face while he makes a few more notes before clearing his throat.

A blush slowly crept up Kyle's neck. He had to admit, he rather enjoyed the way his name rolled off the other's tongue. "Hope that wasn't too forward," John added. "I can give you some space if you'd like-"
"No! Nono, you're fine, you don't have to go!" Kyle rushed out to stop him from retreating. John raised his eyebrows at the outcry, looking fairly amused.
For the love of God, Kyle mentally yelled at himself to play it cool.
