    Summary

“I never wanted to create a monster!” James yelled, scratchy and hoarse, wide-eyes focused on the pale man in front of him. His hands were shaking as he reeled over the grave mistake he’d made.

“Monster is a relative term, Dr. Potter. To a canary, a cat is a monster. We're just used to being the cat.” A wry smile crept onto his face, “That is the reality you have created.”

“You didn’t ask for reality, Tom.” He swallowed harshly as he closed his eyes, “You asked for more teeth.”

    Summary

Four Wizards. One War. One way to go.

    • Harry Potter - The Sacrificial Lamb, “What life can he possibly live here like this? If he’s not the Boy Who Lived, if he’s not the Saviour, if he doesn’t end a decades long war… who is he?”
    • Draco Malfoy - The Scapegoat, “He wanted so desperately to deserve saving. He wanted so desperately to deserve death. He never deserved either.”
    • Regulus Black - The Spear Carrier, “That seems to be his fate regardless. And he’d rather die with people he trusts than drown alone with no one knowing he was trying to do the right thing in the end.”
    • James Potter - The Cannon Fodder, “He suddenly feels guilty. Towards her, towards Harry. He feels as if he’s done something terrible, dying and taking her along with him all the while leaving a baby Harry to fight and win the war.”

Or: Thanks to a freak accident, Harry and Draco find themselves stuck in 1977. As if being punted into the middle of a raging war they'd already won wasn't bad enough, they're inevitably sucked into the messy lives of Harry's dead dad and the people he holds most dear.

    Summary

By instruction, the class all dipped forward, their right legs lifting high in the air behind them. It was all synchronised balance, all sharp and soft lines. Remus had never watched ballet, but he found it captivatingly beautiful in its easy elegance and quiet strength. He watched the graceful boy who didn’t waver when a few other students did. Who cares if boys don’t do ballet, he thought. He’s the best one there.

Or, where Remus gets into a bit too many fights, running from these fights brings him to his favourite record store and the ballet studio behind it, and a subsequent friendship that carries him through the years.
