Summary
Mac McDonald and Charlie Kelly are roommates. They're both 27, near-starvation broke on the edge of eviction, and somehow Charlie is the only one really managing to hold down a job as a janitor at a shitty bar nearby. Mac has goals, of course he has goals, but while he ruminates on them, stuck between jobs, he takes what he has to his advantage: free alcohol from his roommate who works at a bar and unlimited streams of women to choose from every night. If he sleeps with enough of them, he's bound to find one attractive enough to be tolerable, right?
