Summary
For two veritable geniuses, Kathryn and Seven can both be remarkably dense, sometimes.
Or: Seven handwaves away the obvious until empirical data forces her to admit the truth, and Kathryn finally has nowhere to hide after she sees concrete proof she isn't a romantic old fool.
Our ladies, navigating the perils of the Delta Quadrant, one bump or bruise at a time.
(Space wives, hurt/comfort and fluff, post-Think Tank.)

Summary
Prixin through the years aboard the USS Voyager, observed by a crew that became one of the best little found families worth celebrating this side of the Delta Quadrant. Featuring lavish feasts, lots of joy, several shenanigans, and perhaps (on occasion) one-too-many drinks for a Captain that never got quite enough chances to truly let her hair down.
For Star Trek Potluck 2025.

Summary
Kathryn gives up on the monthly letter writing into the void after a while not because she wants to but because she has to, something tells her she's got to fully let go if—well. She's just got to fully let go. Between Deanna and Tuvok and two years of silence, she's gotten that far. She can't look too closely at it, yet, this ball of hurt and grief and loss they insist on picking at, but she’s got the shape of it in her hands, delicate, and brittle, and raw. She takes the complicated, knotted feelings into a home office on Nepenthe and an arid backyard on Vulcan and learns how to deal.

Summary
Seven didn’t really think about her destination, once she shot her way out of the bar and off of Freecloud. She didn’t regenerate, either, she just… went. She slept and woke in her pilot’s chair, pausing only to consume yet another flavorless ration bar, her movements nearly an extension of the ship running on autopilot to its heading. After days at high warp, she found herself arriving at what felt like the only possible destination there was.

Ramona's eyebrows crawl skyward because she expected Destiny's outrage, disgust, exasperation, but not the interest, the well, why not? in her crooked smile.

Miranda's office has really excellent windows. Andy takes advantage of them. (It's funny what you can appreciate when you finally spend time in a space without wanting to vomit from anxiety.)

It doesn't happen often, but Miranda Priestly is capable of experiencing surprise. So of course, she finds it memorable.
(A ficlet inspired by the look on Miranda's face when Andy corrects her on that fateful first day.)

Summary
Once upon a time, Jackie wasn't there for Eleanor. Trying to explain herself goes about as well as you'd expect.
(A short musing on how Eleanor might have reacted if Jackie had just confessed to her addiction after the season one finale. Written in February 2010, originally posted to Livejournal.)

After all they'd been through, you'd think the Voyager crew would run out of ways to blindside their captain. You'd think.

Summary
He worried for a while. About Olivia, then Kathy, then both. Then he let just them counterbalance him. The last couple years had shown him just how badly shit could swing out of order without one, and then the other, and when he had neither at all, well—he needs them both. He knows he needs them both, and he’d settled for “they will tolerate each other.” It seemed reasonable enough.
He’s… not sure if this is better or worse.
(Post-Paternity.)
