Summary
Tifa and the others awake on a sunny morning in the Grasslands, only to find that Cloud's bed is empty and he has left early, having told no-one where he was going or why.
Setting out on foot, they follow Red XIII's nose, tracking the scent of Cloud's chocobo out into the wild. The others are skeptical, but Tifa recalls what happened on the rooftop of the Inn at Kalm.
Could Cloud really have abandoned them?

Summary
Something is killing the citizens of Midgar in their beds.
Rumours are spreading through the city about the murders, a half-dozen victims in as many weeks, found with burned out eyes and ashen skin and, curiously, their blood turned to Mako. Summary
Intelligence reports indicate that a representative of the rogue machine faction codenamed [REDACTED] will be meeting with the enemy at an unknown location in the Desert Ruins at 1500 11945/[REDACTED]. The objective of this meeting is the exchange of a stolen YoRHa blackbox (carried by the representative) for an unknown Object of Value offered by the Machines. Leaked data harvested from the Machine network confirms that a high-ranking leader of the Machine forces will be present to consummate the exchange.
Units 2B and 9S are to discreetly pursue the rogue faction's representative to the rendezvous area and disrupt the exchange; determining the identify of the Machine leader and recovering both Objects of Value. Recovering the blackbox should be prioritised in the event of conflicting mission objectives.
UPDATE: Mission control are monitoring a potentially hazardous storm developing off-shore of the target area. Map markers have been pushed designating possible shelter locations in the event of landfall during the operation. Updates will be relayed by operator units as the situation develops.
