    本文人物和剧情都是架空，主要人物均为原创角色，仅借鉴少量历史事件。故事发生时间大约是历史上查尔迪兰之战（公历1514年、伊历920年）后第七年（公历1521年、伊历927年）。历史上塞利姆一世于1520年驾崩，但本文内容开始于1521年，他仍任苏丹。历史上塞利姆一世的后继人是赫赫有名的苏莱曼一世，文中没有苏莱曼这个人物。
