Percy took a deep breath. Great gods of Olympus… Kronos. “No,” he said.
“No?!” Zeus roared, rising to his feet. “You would allow our greatest enemy to destroy Olympus? Need I remind you that you, too, are tethered here, boy?”
“I mean,” Percy glared at the king of the gods, “that I won’t send demigods for this quest. If it’s true - if Kronos is stirring - then this issue is far greater than my children are prepared for. I will not send them to their deaths. I will go myself.”

Over a century after his unplanned ascension, Percy Jackson hates godhood just as much as he thought he would. The only thing keeping him going is his devotion to the demigods in his care. So, when Kronos threatens Olympus once again, Percy refuses to make the same mistakes as last time. He’s going to intervene personally and none of his precious demigods are going to die this time.

Percy cringed inwardly.
He knew that he had to get married too because he needed to secure a succession line to his own family's fortune and business. Also, if Luke didn't marry and produce an heir soon, his mother would start ranting about him being Luke's family's last hope, again. And it had always been a headache.
So that wouldn't do.
Even if he had to knock Luke out and drag his body to the altar, Luke was getting married again.
End of story.
