Officially asking his hand in marriage on behalf of the Sect Leader. Obviously, Jiang Cheng felt his heart stop for a moment, that must have been a mistake, someone probably exchanged Lan Xichen’s letter with the official one and delivered to him, it was a joke for sure, a little wrong action that made him start his fall.

Delicate and small from being unable to cultivate properly, Jiang Cheng grows up pampered and spoiled,until the Wens.When the Wens threaten to slaughter his sect, Wen Xu, who has fallen in love with Jiang Cheng at first sight, offers a deal: he will spare Yunmeng Jiang and all of Jianghu if Jiang Cheng marries him. The other sects quickly agree (though yunmeng is unwilling they are forced to also agree), leaving Jiang Cheng as the sacrificial offering.
Now, trapped in a marriage with a man who believes he is a woman, Jiang Cheng must navigate this dangerous deception. He does everything he can to keep Wen Xu from discovering the truth,but he can only delay their comsummation for so long. This is ALL CHENG
