Summary
Steve and Eddie split back in '86 but they didn't talk about it. They didn't talk about it because they never saw each other again: Eddie placed in Seattle, Steve in Chicago.
At least, not until Dustin's birthday party in 1992. From which Steve ran away.
1993 rolls around and Eddie dedicates Corroded Coffin's next (acoustic love song filled) EP to Steve as an olive branch.

Summary
steve has been going through it. not only because of the, you know, four near-apocalypses he's survived, but because his brain is wonky and he can't cope. after vecna though, he feels himself drowning and needs help from his found family to bring him back from under the water.
spoilers: they do. he also falls in love with eddie along the way. featuring a gender crisis and platonic soulmate bonding with one robin buckley.

tommy, alfie, and arthur arrive in cardiff to begin their mission however, tommy makes the mistake of leaving his stupid brother and even stupider lover in the car together. what could possibly go wrong? they wouldn't possibly have a fight whilst tommy and the gang leader could see them through the window just as they were sealing the deal, would they? they couldn't possibly be stupid enough to do that, could they? ... apparently, they are.
or: tommy needs a fucking lie down, alfie's a paragon of what not to do when trying to seal a business deal, and arthur's just trying his best, he really is.

tommy, alfie and arthur are all sat in a pub on their way to cardiff after alfie and arthur have somewhat reluctantly agreed to a truce for tommy’s sake. there's only one more challenge they need to face before getting back on the road: ordering and eating lunch.
or: tommy's a picky eater, arthur relishes in taking the piss out of his brother and alfie puts up with tommy's shit/is whipped as fuck but will complain about it.
