Summary
She sits with Multi on the floor of his room, hair pulled back into a braid, messy and low effort, just Multi’s attempt at getting it out of the way.
When she looks down at her hands, she finds herself bending her fingers this way and that, testing the limits. It feels like her, but in a strange way, as if she’s looking at herself from an outside perspective. She extends her hands outwards, and Multi glances up at her, testing. He’s awfully hesitant, but after the past week, she can’t think of a person she’d rather be going through this with.
Katie smiles, so Multi takes her hands in his.
