    When Sungyeon and Jake met before the guests, Sunghoon held his wine glass so tightly it almost burst in his hand. Both his parents and him were sitting on the long banquet-like table that’d been reserved for royalty, watching them have their first dance, Sungyeon’s sweet smile, she was the cynosure, all eyes on her as Jake held her dearly with this kind look in his face that any non-Jake expert would think was pure love.

    Not Sunghoon, he knew better, he knew Jake’s pale face should be tinted a pretty shade of pink, he knew his hands should be shaking and his teeth should be showing, he knew Sungyeon could never make him half as happy as he could.

The look Jake gave him was one he wasn't expecting- he looked excited, maybe a little bit too comfortable, before he shied away again and covered his face, ears turning beet red. "I-I couldn't ask something like that of your majesty! I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually…"
    The prince's gloved hand reached to push his hands off his face, looking down at him like a predator, licking over his lips like he already knew what was going to happen. "And risk disappointing her like that? On your wedding day?" Jake looked serious about this, a frown taking over his whole face at the thought. "We're both guys, anyway, it doesn't matter."

    He didn't think it'd be this easy, looking down at Jake’s sun kissed face where he laid, the boy blushed even redder, bottom lip nearly quivering as he spoke in stutters, sitting up with this nervous look in his face. “I’ve never even held hands with anyone.”
