Wild dogs come to mind, and so do their wolf cousins; the feline side has cheetahs and hyenas. Dogs, such an universal animal, frequent the streets of Kowloon's walled up city too. The skinny, black and starved beasts roam throughout the ground floor, as well as the lower layers, their gaunt figures smell fresh blood tonight as they peer into a makeshift studio tucked away in the concrete labyrinth.
A girl no older than six is swaddled in silk far too expensive to be found in this city, the older man with matted grey hair is more than aware of that fact, his bulging eyes dart across the room quicker than flies, paranoia makes him watch his back. The door is less like a door and more like a few planks haphazardly nailed together to create a makeshift one. Haphazardly, what a word—neither principle nor organization, it fits the anarchic nature of the Walled City, and of its residents.

seriously this trope has so much potential. He can flustered, amused, used to to play with you and it's hellishly strong so it can be used as a another limb... just saying2. Ello, we all know that the monkei bois would love the reader very much sooo....what if..what if...you wrote about how they couldn't control their tails around the reader despite how hard they might want to.
This can be done in the form of just the tail holding the reader's waist or their tails outting their feelings when trying to appear tough and nonchalant for the reader.
