Summary
All of the memories flash through his mind, which only makes him sob harder. There’s a big pool of wetness on Cellbit’s shoulder now. Cellbit only holds him closer, playing with Roier’s hair with one hand and holding him tightly with the other.
“Shhh.. It’s okay. I’ve got you. I’m right here, amor. I’m right here.” Roier finds himself in Cellbit’s lap somehow, even though he wasn't before. He doesn’t mind it though, he needs the closeness at the moment. As they sit there, Roier still crying, he finds himself thinking about top surgery. He never got it before he came to the island, because it was too expensive. He just wants his chest to be flat, is that too much to ask?
The more he thinks about it, the more he thinks The Federation could do it. Cellbit could probably find a way. The thought comforts him, even if he doesn’t really trust The Federation. He finds himself smiling at the stupid thought, his crying turning to sniffles in minutes.
Roier feels his breathing slow, and even if he isn’t crying anymore, they stay together, practically glued to each other. The silence following is comforting.
